SYNOPSIS

Ester’s cell phone keeps ringing. Damià demands an explanation from her, after she ran away from home unilaterally breaking off the relationship. Still confused and scared, she feels the presence of an ancestral heartbeat.

DIRECTOR

Ferran Carbonell

Ferran Carbonell teaches graphic design and game design at the Escola d’Art de Vic, at ESDAP Catalunya and on the Master’s Degree in Video Game Design and Development at the UOC. He considers himself an amateur director who is a fan of audiovisual language. He began his career in 2018 from the participation in Vicsudon within the Festival Nits de Cinema Oriental de Vic. From Capsa de Caspa, he has won two editions of Vicsudon, two editions of El Rollo d’en Roig and a prize for best performance at the Julius Festival in Vic for the short film Cobi Garcia, inspired by the manga Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo.
