Lada Kopytova

Lada Kopytova is a young filmmaker from Kyiv, Ukraine. Her creative journey started with photography, when she began to take photos on her grandad’s Zenit camera. After a while she started to experiment with moving image, and has naturally moved into film. Her works often deal with the themes of home and belonging. “Les Deux” is Lada’s debut short film, which started out as a family archive, but has gone on to receive awards and recognition worldwide. Lada is currently studying Film at University of Westminster in London, and is preparing to release her first narrative film, “Blueprint”.
