DIRECTOR

Jordi Boquet

Jordi Boquet Claramunt was born in Cervera in 1994. He began his audiovisual studies at the EMAV, then went on to the JAQUE, where he graduated as a director. With his first short film, Ni olvido, ni perdón (2019), he received awards such as the Disfrutó prize from the Catalan Film Academy, the first prize at the Huesca Film Festival and the audience award at the De A Festival in Barcelona. “El tren de la alegría (2022) is the second short film. Acrtualment is currently developing his first feature film, Reír. At the same time, he has also worked as script supervisor on films such as La muerte de Guillem and Corcho. He also teaches directing and cinematographic narrative in the CineBase programme of the JAQUE and in the El Plató de Cine school in Barcelona.
